2023. A YEAR WITHOUT A PRESSURE…
For everyone who’s fed up with the pressure that January and new years brings, this is for you…for us actually. Isn’t it odd that every year we succumb to ‘new year, new me’ messages?
That we allow a bombardment of everything around us to make us feel more insecure and more judgmental? We know that we keep setting some goals for us and all they do is putting us more down.
So why do we keep setting ourselves up for this every January, year after year? Why do we keep putting such a pressure at ourselves and when is that time we say that it is enough for us?
Let’s try something different this year, let’s try simplicity, longevity, try to slow down for real this time and enjoy, enjoy of life we live right now, knowing that we ARE doing the best we can. The emphasis is on TRY. Press a little pause and look around us.
This year, let’s try to shift our minds. Let’s try that our workout, dieting or any other thing we do isn’t without our MIND and SOUL in it. Try to be more “here” and make the most we can without burning out.
Give ourselves an extra hour of sleep, an extra five or ten minutes in the morning before the chaos of the day begins, an extra hour in the nature when you can, and extra greens on our plate and beware of each sip of our coffee or tea. Be more at ease, more present, be more grateful.
Slow down.
For me, it’s the little things I do for myself, before my family wakes up. Warm water with lemon right in the morning after I wake up, green smoothie with flax or green juice with ginger and my daily routine every day – 5 Tibetans.
At least let’s try to treat ourselves a little differently this year. Let 2023 be our year of change.
